O ensaio fotográfico faz uma abordagem da imagem, a partir da sua recepção, tendo como referência o universo feminino de 15 mulheres que possuem vínculos com o ambiente de saúde mental.
São profissionais, pacientes ou seus familiares que não são identificados como tais, valorizando o conceito de convívio, estabelecido como fundamento no tratamento preconizado pela Dra. Nise da Silveira.
A coleção de fotografias, disposta em duas versões para cada uma das retratadas, expõe a relação dinâmica e subjetiva que há entre cada uma dessas mulheres e sua própria imagem e confunde o receptor ao não informar em legenda o papel de cada uma delas nesse ambiente.

The photographic essay approaches the image, from its reception, with reference to the female universe of 15 women who have ties to the mental health environment.
They are professionals, patients or their families who are not identified as such, valuing the concept of living together, established as a foundation in the treatment recommended by Dr. Nise da Silveira.
The collection of photographs, arranged in two versions for each of the portraits, exposes the dynamic and subjective relationship between each of these women and their own image and confuses the recipient by not informing the role of each of them in that environment.
