Uma fotografia do esquecimento
O objetivo deste projeto é acumular evidências para atestar o quanto a fotografia vernacular é um instrumento frágil para resguardar a memória do homem comum.
Neste caso específico, os álbuns pessoais do autor, que já demonstram um forte desgaste são revisitados, refotografados e acrescentando ruídos, para dificultar ainda mais o acesso ao seu conteúdo.
Ao abordar o problema da insuficiência técnica da fotografia, os resultados apresentados acabam se tornando uma alegoria, uma tentativa de representação da memória em si, articulando a questão das perdas e, em última instância, da precariedade humana.
As fotografias que compõem este ensaio são, por assim dizer, o registro do próprio esquecimento.

A picture of the forgetfulness
The objective of this project is to accumulate evidences to attest how much vernacular photography is a fragile instrument to protect the common man's memory.
In this specific case, the author's personal albums, that already demonstrate a fort consume are revisited, re-photographed and increasing noises, to hinder still more the access to its content.
When approaching the problem of the technical inadequacy of the photography, the presented results end if turning an allegory, an attempt of representation of the memory in itself, articulating the subject of the losses and, ultimately, of the human precariousness.
